I'm Very Proud of My Girl

After a couple of weeks of anticipation, Allison cut off 11" of her hair for Locks of Love. I took her to my stylist Lindsey at Salon Red in Asheville. She didn't even cry, which means that I didn't either.

She feels good that it was for a good cause, and now she's got a super-hip new hairdo just in time for school next week.

  1. What an adorable haircut!! That's a brave thing to do, I know that I would have cried, I have about that much hair now and don't know what to do with it! She looks so grown up doesn't she?

  2. A-dor-able!
    She is a real cutie!
and looks grand with her new do!

  3. How sweet, that's a great hair cut on her. I had really long hair till I was 36, my hairdresser had to have a glass of wine before she cut it, back then I didn't know about giving hair to charity for a wig, wish I had.

  4. What a great thing to do!! -- and hard! And she looks adorable.

  5. It looks great, Ali! You are terrific!
